Steven Biskupic was a member of the planning group for a conference entitled “National Security, Individual Liberty, and You” at Marquette University Law School, which examined national security and individual liberty in a post-9/11 world. Biskupic presented a historical perspective and moderated a panel discussion of the local uses of national security tools, featuring Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn and U.S. District Judge Pamela Pepper. Other speakers included former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey and U.S. Representative F. James Sensenbrenner.
