Matt is a partner at Biskupic & Jacobs, focusing on complex civil and criminal white collar and government regulatory matters. Prior to joining Biskupic & Jacobs, Matt was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. During his tenure as a federal prosecutor, Matt served as Chief of the Criminal Division and Health Care Fraud Coordinator, and handled numerous criminal tax, health care, and other fraud investigations, prosecutions, and trials. In his free time, Matt enjoys hiking with his dog and practicing yoga.
Professional Experience
- Successfully tried more than 100 jury trials to verdict as a federal prosecutor.
- Obtained complete acquittal in federal court for client accused of 10 counts of accounting and securities crimes.
- Personally handled a wide variety of complex financial matters, including tax, health care, bank fraud, money laundering, and environmental crimes.
