The Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of the firm’s client, vacating his sentence and remanding for resentencing. The Seventh Circuit concluded that the judge’s Guidelines calculation, including the drug quantity, was not supported by sufficient findings.
Vanessa Eisenmann and Michelle Jacobs represented the defendant on appeal, and Eisenmann presented oral argument. The firm now has 18 criminal-defense victories in the Seventh Circuit since opening in 2013.
