The Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has granted relief to the firm’s clients twice in 2017, vacating a district court’s denial of a motion for a new trial based on ineffective assistance of counsel, and vacating a district court’s sentence because of procedural errors.
Michelle Jacobs and Vanessa Eisenmann represented the defendants on appeal, and Jacobs presented oral arguments. The firm now has 10 criminal defense victories in the Seventh Circuit since opening in 2013.
